Kia Forte Named Segment Winner in JD Power 2019 Automotive Performance Execution and Layout | JT's of Rock Hill
Kia Forte, one of the most popular and best-selling models of the automobile manufacturer’s models in America, has been rewarded with the J.D. Power 2019 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) award. 2019 Kia Forte earned this award in light of Kia having scored the highest rank when it came to mass-market brands in the J.D. Power 2019 Initial Quality Study for five years in a row. Additionally, the Forte was also recognized for its top performance in the compact car segment. The J.D Power APEAL study conducts a survey that includes almost 80,000 Americans in order to measure their satisfaction with their new vehicles within the first 90 days of ownership. The results are then divided into ten different categories, which include the exteriors, interiors, seats, storage, heating and ventilation, audio, visibility, powertrain, fuel economy, and driving dynamics.
This means that based on customer satisfaction, the 2019 Kia Forte is one of the best vehicles in the compact car segment. Clearly, this is an excellent and highly reliable indicator of any automobile’s success. According to the Chief Operating Officer and EVP of Kia Motors America (KMA), Michael Cole, the third-generation Forte has raised the bar when it comes to styling, packaging, and content. He also went on to say that the Kia Forte is a “world-class vehicle” that showcases his company’s 'high level of commitment to quality and ownership experience'. More about the Kia Forte
For 2019, the Kia Forte was redesigned and offered with a couple of enhancements. Not only does it boast a more appealing design, but it also includes a wide range of attractive features. Some of these features are lane keeping assist, forward collision warning, as well as an 8-inch rearview monitor that comes with dynamic parking guidance and more.
This update has made the model more than just an ordinary car, propelling it to an even higher quality than what it was. To take things even further, Kia has added two new trim levels for 2020, making the lineup to include the FE, LXS, GT Line, EX, and finally, the top-range GT.
